CrossFit

CrossFit is a brand of strength & conditioning developed by coach Greg Glassman that is broad by design, using full body movements such as squatting, jumping, pushing, pulling, running, and carrying. It incorporates the olympic lifts, gymnastics movements, plyometrics, rowing, sprinting, kettlebells, medicine balls, rope climbs, power lifting, and body weight exercises performed at varying levels of intensity for varying lengths of time. A workout lasts anywhere from 3 to 45 minutes and every workout is different- you will rarely do the same thing twice. Workouts are also scalable, suiting a wide range of fitness levels. The same workout can be performed by a novice and a veteran by adapting load and intensity, making a community fitness atmosphere possible. CrossFit rapidly produces an exceptional level of fitness in both the elite athlete and anyone just seeking to improve their general level of fitness.
